The Charles Paddock Zoo is a small community zoo, with just over 100 animals featured on its five acres of land. Despite its small size, the AZA-certified zoo still has impressive animals in high-quality habitats, featuring a tiger, wallabies and spider monkeys. It is part of Atascadero Lake Park, sitting on the southern edge of town.
Open daily, Apr - Oct: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Nov - Mar: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
